Holy moly Jess. So much to digest with this post. I’m still second hand traumatized by Steve’s (not funny) prank. Sounds like such a great time with the grandparents. I’m so excited to hear about the next part of you trip. I’ve never been to Malaysia and always wanted to go. I’ll take detailed notes. It will be so nice for the kids to be with their friends. Sending love from TO. Looks like in no time we will be getting a heat wave like you. It has turned to spring here! 😍
I can’t believe Steve is still alive after that prank. Has he not see Brokedown Palace?! As I have never been anywhere near this part of the world, I have no offerings of advice or places to see. Don’t think you need it though! The amount and variety of activities and experiences you do in each stop is so impressive. And I love reading about it every week. Fodor, Rick Steves…eat your heart out. My favourite picture this week is Raffi in the bird’s nest. That’s a classic!
What a fantastic adventure you are having! Absolutely wonderful!. Same thing happened to us in Indonesia with respect to not having a proper international license but the “police station” was the head officer’s car and a quick payment and we were off.

I would have sent Steve home after the Embassy prank! Geeze!
